Single-Sided
A single layer of conductive material (typically copper) supported with an adhesive-bonded dielectric film insulator on at least one side.
Sculpted
A single layer of conductive material (typically copper) supported with an adhesive-bonded dielectric film insulator on at least one side, whose conductive layer is chemically milled so as to be very thick and robust at the termination points and thin and flexible in-between.
Double-Sided
Two conductive material layers (typically copper) separated by a dielectric film insulator - with or without adhesive bonding - interconnected with plated through holes, and insulated with an adhesive-bonded dielectric film on at least one side.
Multi-Layer
Three or more conductive material layers (typically copper) separated by a dielectric film insulator - with or without adhesive bonding - interconnected with plated through holes, and insulated with an adhesive-bonded dielectric film on at least one side.
Rigid-Flex
Three or more conductive material layers (typically copper) separated internally by a dielectric film insulator - with or without adhesive bonding, and externally by a glass reinforced (glass woven) resin, and interconnected with plated through holes.
