Polyimide Heaters
The Vulcan Electric line of Polyimide (KaptonTM) flexible heaters offer ideal heating solutions for applications requiring temperature stability and uniformity, dimensional stability, integrated sensing and control technologies, and value-add assemblies lowering overall end product assembly costs. Available in standard and custom configurations, these heater solutions are ideal for use in a wide range of applications where heating is required in specific locations. Our in-house design team can develop the right heating solution for you every time.
Flexible Heaters with Sensors
Vulcan Flexible Heaters with integrated sensors are often a preferred construction option for engineers due to unique configurations that can be incorporated into the design during the flexible heater manufacturing process. The results often include enhanced temperature control performance, reduced space requirements, improved reliability, and a reduction in costs associated with secondary component assembly (including lower labor, fewer materials, and reduced scrap). Additional benefits often include more rapid heat-up, improved thermal cycling, and less temperature control overshoot.

Vulcan's Flexible Heater and Flexible Circuit capabilities provide many engineering advantages in the development of today's complex end product and system designs. Vulcan's ability to integrate the heater and circuit as well assembled components into one package, creates many opportunities to save space and improve system performance. In addition to new product development and system programs, we often assist our customers with the design of flexible heater and flexible circuits into existing applications with resulting improvements in system reliability, new features, and often at lower net costs.
