Congressman Paul Hodes (NH) Visits Vulcan Flex Circuit Corporation

Congressman Hodes and his District Director Jane Berlin Pauley met with several members of the Management team including Michael Quick, President &  CEO, Stan Haupt, VP of Operations, AnnMarie Reczko, VP of Human Resources and Al Wasserzug, Director of Business Development. The meeting was followed by a plant tour which included the demonstration of several new pieces of equipment and afforded many employees the opportunity to speak with the Congressman.  

The Congressman’s visit was a follow up to the IPC Capital Hill Day on 06 MAY 2009 and meetings during that event between Wasserzug and the Congressman’s staff.  Wasserzug was promoting the IPC legislative issues of H.R.783 (the bill to make permanent R & D tax credits), H.R. 422 (which calls for an increase in the alternative simplified credit rate), S.823 (that extends net operating loss carry forwards), and support for funding of the Congressionally mandated DOD PCB Executive Agent assignment – all of which Representative Hodes has officially lent his support to.  While visiting Vulcan the Congressman also discussed with Vulcan officials defense spending and health care as these issues relate to small, hi-tech businesses like VFCC.
